This Summer, some of the of the world's finest athletes will travel to Anchorage, Alaska, to compete in the World Eskimo-Indian Olympics (WEIO), July 18 - 21, 2007. Take a look at WEIO through students' eyes - Carolyn Erdahl and Wesley Woods with the Media Educational Development Institute of Alaska (MEDIAK), examine the way WEIO displays the preparedness and skill Alaska Natives needed for survival, including strength, agility and endurance.
MEDIAK's mission is to engage Native students in the creation of media and inspire them to realize their unlimited potential.
